Join us for a weekend of deep relaxation and restoration in the beautiful Second Spring Lakehouse and studio, in the heart of the Cotswolds. This women's wellness retreat promises time and space to reconnect with yourself and immerse in Pilates and mindfulness activities to inspire you to live your best life.
An outline of the weekend can be seen below*
Friday 12th July: Arrival from 4:30pm and settle into your accommodation. Dinner is available throughout the evening and we will come together for a relaxation and guided mindfulness session in the onsite studio, before relaxing with warm cacao around the firepit.
Sat 13th July: We will start the day with an energising Pilates class in the onsite studio followed by a tasty breakfast spread in the main house. You will then be invited to a workshop focused on journalling and gratitude before enjoying some time to explore the grounds and lake (optional wild swimming or maybe try out a paddleboard?) The house has plenty to offer, so you may decide to just take some time out and curl up in a cosy nook with a book - this is time for you to truly unwind and enjoy some deep rest!
A nutritious buffet lunch packed with locally sourced foods will be ready for you to enjoy, followed by an optional workshop to learn how to make healthy chocolate (yes, those two words can go together and it is absolutely delicious!) Beauty treatments are available from our visiting therapist, so why not book yourself in for a relaxing massage or beauty treatment?
We will then have time to get ready for dinner: a beautiful 3 course meal prepared by a local private chef
Sunday 14th July: After our relaxing Pilates session, breakfast will be served in the house. We will then join together for our WellWomen workshop, where we will look at the link between stress, sleep and diet and learn ways in which we can improve our own wellness and live better. As we approach lunchtime we will be making use of the local walking path from the Lakehouse into Bourton-on-the-Water itself, where we will stop to enjoy a delicious meal at a local pub. After the meal, you can either enjoy a leisurely stroll back to the house or embark on a longer walk past the local village of Lower Slaughter.
A light dinner will be available and as we move into the evening, an optional craft session of needlecraft led by our guest Sheila Christensen (published author and quilter).
Monday 15th July: A slow-paced morning to enjoy a final breakfast together before checking out by 10am.
Tickets include 3 nights accommodation and all activities and meals, with the exception of Sunday lunchtime, where we will take a walk into Bourton-on-the-Water for some local food together. You will need to arrange your own transport to and from the venue (local pickups may be possible - please get in touch if you would like to discuss).
